I think UBS has taken their work (or at least the work that I've seen) to the next level. Be sure to stick around for the end cards. I would love to see this outdoor board.
It would be very difficult to follow up The After Hours Athlete. But this does a nice job...
This is my favorite of the bunch this time. It's from My Shelter Foundation where a way has been found to use water bottles as lighting. Terrific and important. See the full video here.
MasterCard began the "Priceless" campaign in 1997 and it's always nice to see a new execution in the series. It's very difficult to keep building out one creative idea without shifting for so long but the gang at McCann NY finds a way.
Zeeman is a famous clothing retailer from Holland who focuses on low price. To prove that looking stylish doesn't have to be expensive they launched a guerrilla stunt at Amsterdam's International Fashion Week under a fake brand called, Frank. Those in the audience seemed to welcome the surprise twist.
I love great out of home... Here's a bus shelter from VitaminWater and CP+B that offers a 5-volt battery powered USB port for people to charge phones, music players and gaming devices. You can find them in LA, NY, CHI and BOS. A nice way of communicating VitaminWater's on-the-go, quick energy boost message.
Launching this week is "Inside," a social film experience from the Director of Disturbia and the creative teams at Pereira & O'Dell and B-Reel. It's a cool idea where the protagonist engages with the audience via social media as she's trapped in a room with only an Intel powered Toshiba laptop and web connection to get out. See it here.
Early in my career I worked on Nestlé. I was in the confections group on tasty things like Crunch, 100 Grand Bar and... Willy Wonka. The Imagination Room is a nice use of YouTube.
I have been catching up on some reading over on Russell's site about sound, which is well worth checking out when you have a moment. And while I was in the process of doing that I found this site called SoundAffects from Parsons The New School For Design. I'm not sure what to make of it all yet, but things have been so visual lately, it's nice to think about the sound going on in our world and how we might work with that better.
