It's been a while since a new collection of work was posted up. But as always, there's lots of great stuff going on out there. Always fun to poke around and try to find it...
To kick things off: Apple and TBWA\Chiat\Day... I've been wondering what Apple would do given Microsoft's massive "I'm a PC" push... Personally, I think their response is brilliant:
Australia Tourism has an interesting spot directed by Moulin Rouge! director, Baz Luhrmann. Found this on scamp and personally thought the direction was worth special notice.
Here's something fantastic for Nintendo Wii (WarioLand). Find courtesy of Social-Creature. Click here to see. Not sure on who produced this??
Key Bank has a new campaign that's drawing some attention. Really like the line: "Money creates money concerns, and genuine attention to money helps eliminate them." I think it would be difficult to choose a wise campaign for a bank today. This effort from Cramer-Krasselt/Chicago plays really well. (Found on Adverbox.)
Whenever I see a poorly concepted and cheaply produced public safety effort it always makes me a little frustrated because I know there are many ways to make that stuff great. Such as this:
Found on Influx Insights.
In the totally random category, I was served something on the funniest cocktail napkin the other day...
3M puts forth a great ad for Post-It courtesy of Cozum, Istambul, Turkey. I'm always a sucker for simple, straight-forward print; Always looks much easier than it is. (Found on Ads of the World.)
Canadian agency Cocoon Branding recently completed a very cool DJ table for Red Bull. The piece has slotted space for vinyls and ventilation for a laptop. (Found on Creativity.)
Graffiti artists Doze Green (New York) and Blek le Rat (Paris) have a show at the Jonathan Levine Gallery (NY) now through November 15th. I'm always amazed at the imagination and unique artistry of well-done street art:
I found this awhile ago on The Cool Hunter but have been delayed posting it up... It's a non-denominational prayer site from the founder of The Cool Hunter. The contents of the site are good wishes, comments and advice on 17 topics from people around the world. Great design courtesy of London's Something-Somewhere and fascinating to explore.
