Here's a quick rundown of some recent great work that's out there...
Enjoy.
Coca-Cola celebrates 125 years with an Open Happiness light show on their Atlanta Headquarters. I think there's often tremendous opportunities to do more with signage and real estate at corporate HQs. For both major things like this and everyday messaging.
DDB Hong Kong for McDonald's. This is just great thinking. To establish awareness of a new 'New York style' burger, McDonald's used a guerrilla marketing idea that drove folks directly to purchase. And it lasted two weeks, contrary to many guerrilla efforts that are just single day events.
I've always had an affinity for Mitsubishi ever since I was at Deutsch and we did this stuff. Some of the shots here look pretty amazing. Similar things like this have been done in SUV marketing but this does appear to take it to the next level.
Yes TOMS sells shoes. (And then gives one to a child in need for every pair sold.) So they're a shoe company. But bigger than that, they're a one-for-one company.
While this Walmart campaign may not appear on many creative blogs it stands out and is a crowd favorite thanks largely in part to the excellent production across the campaign. Nice multi-brand co-op effort.
As always, find more of the good stuff here.
